The Skilltech Solutions stable has grown this year, with Accolade – our brand-new platform designed to support end point assessment in General Awarding – joining our ever-popular apprenticeship platform, epaPRO.
For EPAOs and training providers, the opportunity to support wider training outside of traditional apprenticeships is an exciting one, and we’re thrilled to be a part of this rapidly expanding area of our sector – especially with Labour’s Growth & Skills Levy placing even more importance on workplace training and non-apprenticeship development qualifications in the next few years.
Yet while it is an exciting development, we appreciate that for training providers this extension into new areas now means potentially moving between learner journeys on not one, but two platforms: epaPRO and Accolade. While we knew that moving between information and navigating dashboards within each platform would be as streamlined and intuitive as ever, it posed a challenge: what happens when you are active on both platforms, and need to switch between the two on a daily basis?
Our goal has always been to make end point assessment and awarding management as accessible, streamlined and efficient as possible, and we were determined to keep that ethos even as our platforms grew. Which is why we have introduced Skilltech 1: a new way to log in to our platforms that reduces admin and improves every user’s experience.
Skilltech 1 is a single point login hub available to any Skilltech Solutions clients. It provides one centralised access point to log in to Accolade and epaPRO, allowing users to easily and quickly switch between the two platforms without the frustration of logging out and in again.
Skilltech 1 allows you to see all instances of epaPRO and all instances of Accolade, on one intuitive screen. If you’re looking at an apprentice’s journey on epaPRO and want to see another training journey on Accolade, you can simply go back to Skilltech 1 and navigate from the login hub.
Every Accolade user will be given a Skilltech 1 login as part of their package. If you are on epaPRO it is optional, but recommended, especially as you onboard new training providers and want to navigate between them. It is fully secure and compatible with multi factor authentication policies, making it suitable for any EPAO, awarding body or training provider.
