At our booth, we will also be talking to visitors about epaPRO’s latest integration, epaPRO assess, which will allow AOs to run end-to-end assessments directly within epaPRO.

This integration will go one step further towards making epaPRO the universal hub for everything EPA, and it is being made possible by our partnership with risr/.

risr/ has 20 years of experience in delivering assessment technology that enables high stakes testing for the General Medical Council and numerous leading universities worldwide.

Its industry-beating platform will be integrated directly into epaPRO as epaPRO assess, which will allow AOs to deliver end-to-end oral, observation-based, face-to-face and MCQ testing - meeting the needs of every AO for any standard.

New for 2023 – the FAB Interactive Zone

EPA management technology like epaPRO has changed assessment for the better – improving apprentice outcomes, streamlining admin, and bringing together all stakeholders in a single, unified platform.

However, we’re just one of many exciting innovators in the sector – which is why we’re delighted to sponsor FAB’s inaugural ‘Interactive Zone’, taking place on Friday 1st December.

Here pioneering providers and Edtech companies will let attendees get ‘hands-on’ with tech-based learning solutions – from AI-powered CAD teaching tools to limitless learning with VR.

Skilltech will be showcasing the epaPRO assess integration with risr/ in the FAB Interactive Zone, letting you see exactly how streamlined, intuitive and effective it is to manage all of your assessments directly from your EPA management hub, epaPRO.

Celebrating assessment’s change-makers

FAB is about celebrating everyone who is changing assessment for the better – and we want to shine a light on four epaPRO users who are being recognised as award nominees for their outstanding commitment to improving apprentice outcomes.

These are:

IMI – The Institute of the Motor Industry

Nominated for: Qualification of the Year, Innovation of the Year, AO/Provider Relationship of the Year (with Autotech and Realwear) and AO of the Year for Delivering Real Impact on Equity, Diversity and Inclusion

IMI is the professional association for motor industry workers – and it is also proactive in developing the skills to make the clean energy transition in motoring happen.

Its Level 3 Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle System Repair and Replacement (nominated for ‘Qualification of the Year’) will be just one part of filling the 16,000 jobs that the eV industry will need by 2023, and giving British apprentices the skills they need to support a globally

Construction EPA

Nominated for: AO/Provider Relationship of the Year (with Leeds College of Building)

Construction EPA is the leading specialist EPA provider for the construction industry, training over 10,000 professionals since its inception.

As Leeds College of Building knows, their ‘all-inclusive’ EPA offer goes above and beyond the call of duty. Construction EPA established a dedicated, fully-equipped assessment centre to deliver their partners’ ambitious training programmes.

Nominated for: Social Responsibility Initiative of the Year and Apprentice of the Year (Duriye Gungor)

ActiveIQ has trained over 500,000 professionals in the physical activity sector in the past two decades. It’s one of the most trusted names in EPA, having been an early joiner of the EPAO register (now APAR) and has helped apprentices such as Duriye turn their passion for sport and wellbeing into a fruitful career.

Professional Assessment

Nominated for: AO/Provider Relationship of the Year (with Future Talent Learning)

Professional Assessment is an AO specialising in EPA delivery and support. They are cross-disciplinary and help providers to ensure seamless EPA across care, hospitality, digital, education, manufacturing and – for a client like Future Talent – management and leadership.

Their support, powered by epaPRO, has led to better collaboration and improved apprentice outcomes – including a case study with one assessor achieving a 94.2% distinction rate with her apprentices.

We wish these AOs every success at the ceremony and look forward to meeting customers, visitors and partner organisations at FAB 2023.
